I wrote to you about a month ago asking you about my rabbit.. well today when i came home i found her pulling out her fur and putting it in her box. is this nesting. it has been about 30 days since she was mated. how long to go before the babies come?

It could be anytime now that she has babies. The normal gestation (pregnancy period) is 28-32 days. Keep it quiet around where she is. You can quietly watch her from a a bit of a distance to make sure the birth goes smoothly. Normally a female will give birth, clean the babies off as they come, and then leave the nestbox when she is done (she may or may not nurse them right away). Once she is done and you are sure she is not going to go back in to have more, you can go check the babies. Remove any dead or seriously injured ones to prevent them rotting an causing infection in the healthy babies.

Have a vet ready on call in case anything goes wrong. Every once in a while a kit will get stuck in the birthing canal, which can cause serious problems for the mother. If this happens, you will at least need a vet to walk you through how to get it out, though it would be best if you could get a vet to actually help if something goes wrong.
