Spay wound concern

Question
Hi I have just had my rabbit spayed she is only 5 months but she had to have an op on a hernia so was advised to get her spayed aswell. to my surprise she is eating fine and hopping around .
she currently is in a tent liner indoors with her sister who is not altered. they get on and her sister washes her. i am concerned because her sister keeps going underneath to her wounds
which have internal stiches and skin glue. I cant tell what she is doing but if causing pain surely the other would run away from her.? I got her in a towel yesterday to check wounds which is very stressful as she really struggles (will this make things worse) wounds look clean a tiny bit of fresh blood and slightly warm and raised around the incision. i dabbed salt water on.
put her back but now use mirror to check as placing her belly up is too stressful. should i seperate them? worried this will cause more stress as they are company.im just really stressed out and worried. but in herself she seems okay eating and drinking and moving around is this all the proof i need. any advice would be good.

Answer
I would separate them for the time being, put them right next to each other if you can so they can still see and smell each other.

The incision needs to heal.  Watch it to see if the redness goes away, and if not, call the vet.

Rabbits will lick the wounds of other rabbits, so at this point separating them would be the safest course of action.
