urine red after being neutured

Question
My holland Lop was just neutered and is now exercising outside his cage indoors each night.  His diet is the same, but he is urinating very dark orange and now red.  I am worried.

It may be some medication residue from the surgery. It is also possible that this batch of food you are feeding has something in it like Calf Manna which will turn urine orangish red. If his urine stays like this for a long time, then you may want to consult your vet to make sure everything is ok still
