rabbit sound

Question
Is there anyway I could send you a 30sec video of my rabbit because i was able to get the weird sound she makes  I was hoping you can tell me what it is and maybe can help other people if they hear the same sound.

Hi Jen,

I received your videos.  She is making little protest grunts.  The first video you were putting your hands in and near her food dish a number of times, and she was just grunting at you that she didn't like that.  The second video she was grunting as well, more likely for the repeated opening of the door and hands coming in, even though you were petting her.  It appears she just had gotten some new greens and it was probably again, food-related and she was telling you that those were HER greens.

Fast movements, or a lot of repeated movements over and over again can generate a little grunt of protest.  She apparently loves her food, so she's just saying, hey, let me eat in peace!  She is a very good tempered bunny to just give protest grunts, some would just as soon give you a nip or a real bite.

I wouldn't take it personal, she'd probably do this to a cage mate who she thought may try to eat some of her food.  Protest grunts like this are very mild and it's just them saying in the mildest terms, I don't like what you're doing.  They don't build up or become grudges or anything like that.
