bunnie hair lost

Hi,My bunnie is lossing hair fast but he has always lost hair and I have always thought that it was a shedding prosses! but under neath the hair lost is another layer of hair and that layer isn't falling. My bunnie has always been a healthy bunnie and has never had any problems. I am 12 years old. Please help me as fast as you can! thanks :)
