baby rabbit losing fur

My baby rabbit is losing fur round her eyes!!! She lives with a 6 year old guinea Pig!!! Can you help

Most of the time when fur around the eyes is being lost, it is accompanied by wetness around the eyes. The wetness is usually what is causing the fur loss. This wetness can be caused by either a blocked or irritated tear duct or an eye infection.

Fur loss can also be caused by mites, though the initial fur loss in this case is usually around the ears, neck, or back.

Either way, a visit to a vet would not be a bad idea. If it is an irritated tear duct or an eye infection, it can be soothed with medicated eye drops. If it is fur mites, the vet can apply some medication to kill the mites.
