Bunny Miscarraige?

Question
Hi.  I just got a rabbit from my neighbor.  She is a Satin rabbit, and she is about 1 & 1/2 years old.  My neighbor had tried to breed her about 5 weeks ago, but he said it didn't take.  I put her in a hutch separated from another male rabbit.  He is a mini lop.  Somehow the male got into her hutch about 3 weeks ago.  (He squeezed through the boards separating them)  Yesterday I saw her pulling her hair out.  Today I went out there, and there were little pink things in her cage.  They were about 1/2 inch long, and didn't look like a baby bunny or anything.  They definitley weren't alive or anything.  I cleaned her cage and removed them.  Could they have been miscarried baby bunnies?
Thank you for your help.

Answer
Dear Brianna,

It sounds as if your bunny did have a miscarriage.  For her health and safety, it would be best for you to have her spayed, since unspayed female rabbits have a very high risk of uterine cancer.  Please see:

and find a good rabbit vet here:

I hope this helps.
