bunny wont walk

Question
well we just got a bunny as a gift a week ago. He is like 6 months old, well the thing is that we had him in our backyard with 2 other bunnies and yesterday i went to check on them and he was walking with his two front legs and dragging the two back legs. i don't know what's wrong with him.

Answer
Dear Jorge,

The most likely explanation is that he suffered a traumatic injury to his back and/or pelvis.  He must be seen by a rabbit-experienced veterinarian *immediately* to see if this can be treated.  If it's a soft tissue injury, administration of anti-inflammatory drugs promptly can mean the difference between full recovery and not.

You should consider this an emergency and get the bunny to a good vet ASAP.  I hope he will be all right.
