Question
My dog brought home a baby rabbit and its eyes are half way open. I've read that it needs something so it don't get diarrhea and die is there any were i can get that other than soft rabbit poop? Do i need it if his eyes are almost open?

Answer
Hi Travis,

you need to get something called "Bene-Bac" from the pet supply store.  It is milk replacement.  If you can't get any use the heaviest (thickest, most fat in it) milk or cream you have in the house, put some in a small plastic cup, and get a clean, plastic (PLASTIC) dropper and see if he will take any.  Give it to him very, very slowly, a drop at a time.

Your best bet is to find where the nest of rabbits is, and place him back there with his brothers and sisters.  His mom will move them all if she feels it is not a safe spot anymore.

Thanks for caring about this little guy.  Tonite make sure he is warm, give him a little box lined with soft cotton towels, and place him in there, partially covered.  If you have a desk lamp that is about a foot or higher keep it on near the nest box to provide a little indirect heat for him.

Tomorrow, you need to hunt around for the rabbit nest.  Either that, or you and your parents need to contact any wildlife rehabilitator groups in your area, and see if they can take him.  Often local animal rescues and shelters can help you find the rehab groups if you have a hard time locating them.
