Question
There is a nest in the front yard, we need to mow are yard what can we do with the baby rabbits ?

Answer
Hi,

if there is a location in your yard area that will be safe from mowing, not too far away from the original nest area, that would be the best choice.

If you can make a 'well' area, shallowed out a bit, take all the nest material along with the babies, and transplant the entire thing over to the new location.  If you leave a little trail of bits and pieces from the old nest to the new one, mom will either be watching you doing this (from a safe location) or will find them by the scent trail.  They probably are partially covered now, you will want to do the same in the new location.  Make sure all the babies (kits) are snuggled together in the new place, they need shared body warmth.

Mom may also move them from where you put them, don't be surprised.  Just keep an eye out for them before mowing.
