Question
My two sisters and I have  a rabbit her name is Stewiey. We just bred her to my male rabbit Moon about a week ago. We don't know what to use, do,or care for them. I olny have one more  question should we keep her in side or out.

Answer
Dear Lucey,

If you are not prepared with all the knowledge you need to be breeding the rabbits, then you should get that first, so you won't have any bad surprises.  Please read this right away, so you'll know how to prepare:

and *especially* this article:

As for your question, inside is best, no contest.  Please go to:

http://www.rabbit.org/care/new-bunny-index.html

for all the information you'll need about litterbox training and how to make the home safe for your bunny.

While Stewley is pregnant is the right time to have Moon neutered so he can live with his family in peace and not have the risk of more litters of babies.  DO NOT let him near Stewley after she gives birth, as he can impregnate her again within minutes.  This would be extremely unhealthy for her, and possibly deadly for her babies, which would not even be weaned when the new babies are born.

Please read this, too:

You can find a good rabbit vet here:  www.rabbit.org/vets

I hope this helps.
