Question
MY rabbit IS PREGNANT, SHE WAS IMPREGNATED ON SAT 25MAY. last NIGHT I WENT TO CHECK HER NEST AND I FOUND A RED STICKY BALL IN THE OPPOSITE CORNER WHICH IS USUALLY HER 'MESS' CORNER. iM WONDERING IF THIS WAS A MISCARRIAGE BUT IM TRYING TO FIND OUT IF SHE COULD HAVE ONLY HAD ONE BABY OR IF SHES HAS GOT MORE INSIDE HER ARE THEY LIKELY TO BE DEAD OR ALIVE?

Answer
hello toni

it sounds to me that it could be possible that your bunny has miscarried. if you can have a look to see if the red ball looks like a baby bunny or not and look under the bedding too incse there were some more. rabbits dont usually just carry on baby there may possible be more rabbits inside her.Have a feel on our bunnies belly and see if it feels like there are more babies in there, if there are and it feels like they are loving then hopefully they will survive. if that was a baby bunny then it could have been that she knew it was dead and would not survive and kept the others in as she knows that they are well and healthy but not yet ready to be born.

i would take her straight to the vets and get her checked out.

i do hope your bunny and babies will be ok

hope this helps
