Question
I just got my bunny on Saterday and he is so cute he is a mini rex. I am not sure if he likes me or not I,m thinking he does because when i take him out of his cage to play(i do that alot since ive gotten him) I will sit down and he comes to me and just lays next to me so close he is laying along my leg. He nipped me for the first time but it did not hurt at all and he is eating out of my hands when i pick him up is does not try to jump anymore he just sits in my arm also when i pick him up to put him back in his cage or i will walk around with him he dont try to jump away from my hands as much as he did at first. I notce he makes a grunting noise when he is in my arms its not aloud one but some times it....how can i put this it will be real soft then it will get louder and then soft again but it is never high pitch...I really want him to love me so bad and it is important to me that he likes me his ears go up alot and sometime one is stright up and them the other one is down a bit and turned out and then sometimes bith of his ears are stright up also when he bit me lightly was that a love nip or was it a warning to get away from him....please help i know i have a lot of ?? im sorry but thatnk you for your time.

Answer
hello tonya

he sounds like a really special bunny. i think he really does love you and as you are really looking after him loads he will love you more for that. your rabbit is not running away or jumping out of your arms as he most probably feels safe when he is with you. he has gotten close to you really quick, you should be very happy about that because you have made that happen by giving him loads of cuddles. as for the bite im guessing at that very time something must have made him scared and bit you . if he hasnt done it sence then he most probably wont do it again. rabbits do that all the time with their ears especially when they can hear a different noice that us humans cant always hear.

if you have any other questions please just ask

hope this helps
