Answer
Hi,

he is weak becaue of lack of eating.  The pain of his teeth problems casued him to gradually stop eating.  The operation is the only way he will feel good enough to eat.  If it were my rabbit, you need to get him back in, ahve the vet stabilize him, and get his teeth corrected.  It's pretty much what needs to be done, and if it isn't done, he will die.

The key is having a good rabbit vet do the work. You need to get back to the vet IMMEDIATELY. Call them and tell them you're coming back, your rabbit's in bad shape, let them prepare for you coming back.  Make sure they are aware he hasn't been eating and drinking, he will need them to give him fluids and get him more stable first, before attempting the teeth procedures.
