Question
Hi, I have a Lionhead Bunny, and she stretches out in front of my vent for the cold air, and she gives me kisses all over my face a lot, and when my face is on the ground near hers, she like to put her nose up against mine, and she breaths my air. My question is what does it mean when my bunny puts her nose up against mine, and breaths my air?

Answer
Dear Anna,

Your bunny adores you so much that she loves to be touching you and smelling you whenever she can.  :)

If she's not spayed, then her sex hormones may be playing a role in her adoration, too.  But unfortunately, unspayed, unbred female rabbits have a very high risk of uterine cancer, and should be spayed when about 8 months of age.  You can read more here:

and find a good rabbit vet to help you here:

But enjoy that cute bunny's kisses and loves!  She'll still love you after she's spayed, and it sounds as if you have a wonderful pal.

Take care,
Dana
