Question
Hi Dave,

Myself and my partner have homed 2 male giant French lopes whom are brothers obviously from the same litter. They are 14 weeks old and have lived happily together until a couple of days ago when I heard a horrible squeal, I found clumps of rabbit hair around the hutch and the smaller of the two was backed into a corner not moving. When the larger rabbit approaches the smaller one there's chaos they start running in circles and act very irrationally. We have recently noticed the larger rabbit trying to dominate the smaller. We separated the pair immediately encase of bloodshed. When trying to introduce them back it happens again with the smaller running off and stamping its feet. Until now they have been great together especially when we bring them inside too play together for a few hours every evening.
Can they ever be friends again???
What can we do???

Thanks,

Chris.

Answer
hi Chris it may take a few weeks before they accept each other again .
the only thing is to keep introducing them for a bit daily and see how they get on, the big one is obviously the dominant one /

another thing to do is to have them neutered , this will calm them down but you will not be able to breed from them if that's what you want in the future if you got a doe.
