Ivercare on rabbits

My rabbit has fur mites and I read that Ivermectin worked well and I found it in paste form under the name Ivercare but it is for horses. Is it safe to apply it to his back? If so how often?

The paste is for oral administration.  Don't give it to your bunnies.  Instead, find a good rabbit vet here:

and see if you can get Revolution (selamectin), once the problem has been properly diagnosed as mites.  A good wellness exam is a good idea whenever there's a health problem, as mite infestation can signify something else going on with the bunny's overall health.  Please also read:
