licking and nipping

Question
I'm playing with a month old kit from a litter of one.  It will lick me but also nip at the same time.  Do rabbits do that when they groom each other?  The kit is doing it to my finger tips so I think maybe it's trying to find a nipple to feed.  When I put it back with the mother it went suckling right away.

A full grown unrelated rabbit also does that when I have my hand in her cage.  It's lick, lick, lick, a little nip, repeat.  It's a gentle nip.

Are they trying to tell me to feed them?

Answer
The baby probably thinks you are its mother or a sibling.  Yes they do groom each other and they will nip at each other.

The adult is most likely telling you that it wants attention.  If it is a gentle nip it generally means pay attention to me.  If it is lunging at you and biting you hard it is telling you to get out of its space.
