Help! my 9 month old doe keeps attacking me!

Question
I have a 9 month old doe who i have had since she was 8 weeks who tries to scratch and bite anyone who tries to touch her. She was fine being handled when she was younger and is fine once she is picked up. More recently when i have let her out in the garden she tries to bite my legs and hands when i try to pick her up to put her back into her hutch. She has not been neutered so would that be a possibility to calm her down? Please help! Thankyou.

Answer
Dear Chloe,

Some rabbits--and particularly females--can become very aggressive when they reach sexual maturity.  Spaying will help.  But you may also find the tips here helpful for calming her down and making her into a nice pal.

The good news:  I've noticed that the aggressive bunnies are often the smartest ones.  :)

I hope this helps.
