free-range rabbits

Question
I am acquiring 2 female, 6 week old bunnies and plan to let them have free-range of my fenced yard (approx 20,000 sq ft).  They will have an open hutch for shelter if they choose to use it.  I will supply them fresh water and pellet food, and the yard has plenty of grass, clover, dandelion greens and some leafy vegetables for them.  They currently live with the doe and the other 7 kits and are given pellets, tomatoes, died corn husks, dried grass, and leafy green vegetables daily to eat. They prefer the tomatoes and veggies!  My question is whether this diet is adequate enough to continue once they are weaned and living in my yard?  They are 1 month old and healthy as can be!

Answer
You'd still want to feed pellets and hay in addition to what they are getting in the yard.  You can find more information about rabbit diets at http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/diet.html

Be sure to predator-proof your yard to make sure that dogs, cats, hawks, raccoons and snakes can't get to your bunnies (or as much as you can given the size of the yard).
