you know how you said go to HRS well i went there and i started to read on the websight and it said they will not let kids adopt and i know im not 21 im only 11 now what do i do and how do i get a best friend for wimblee?

Hi there

I am so sorry.  I have to tell you honestly that sometimes the HRS people annoy me.  Not that they don't have the best interest of the rabbits at heart but for goodness sake if they can find a good home for a rabbit and you have your parents permission I just don't see the issue.

Keep an eye on the newspaper for listings for people that want to re-house their rabbits.  You can also try a place called www.petfinder.com  you can do a search for an area near you.  I have also seen listings for rabbits at a site called www.craigslist.com  it is hard to navigate but you should be able to find your area.

I am so sorry luv.  Maybe you can get your parents to help you.  Bonding rabbits is very hard especially if they are not fixed so when you are doing a search make sure you look for rabbits that are already neutered.

One last thing... Wimblee love's you and I know you are busy but as long as you get a chance to play with him at least a few minutes everyday he will bond with you.  Let me know your general location and I will see if I can find a breeder for you.  I have a very nice young castor mini rex buck that needs a good home but he hasn't been neutered yet.  It would be really convenient if you lived near me but I have a feeling that you don't.  That is usually the way things work out.
