fully grown age and healthy treats

Question
At what age are pbp fully grown? Also my pig eats a regular diet of pig chow but loves to eat dog food. I know that it is to high in protein to be his normal feed but the kibble is just the right size and he loves it so much I was wondering if would be ok to use it as training treats.

Answer
Pot-bellied pigs grow rapidly until they are about 9 months old. They continue to grow fairly quickly until they are about age 2. At that point they reach emotional maturity, and continue to grow slowly until they are age 4 or 5.

Dog food is high in fat, protein and salt. It's ok to let him have one or two bites a day, but it's too high in fat to use as a regular training treat. Raisins and cheerios are better for training.
