think about getting a rat

I am think  about getting a rat and want to know about their behavior.Other people talk to say they are very vicious and bite ALOT.Is this true?how hard are they to tame if any taming required?What should I know before getting one?thanks

Oh, how I hate awful stereotypes. On the contrary, rats are one of the most friendly, nonagressive small pets you could get. It is true that its possible to get a biter from a pet store, but thats why you meet them before you buy one. I would suggest getting a rat from a rescue or breeder. www.ratster.com
