My rat has cold feet and a cold tail

Hi,

I noticed that my little girl rat(Eloise) has really cold feet. it is only her front feet that are cold, her back feet are nice and warm. i also noticed that her tail is pretty cold as well. i was wondering if this is serious or not. should i keep my room a specific temperature for her? She is still a baby. i believe she is only about 2 months.

That indicates a circulatory issue. Have you noticed her favoring her back end at all, and has she had any spinal injury that you know of?

If her feet are normal colored (not turning blue or purple) you're probably fine, just keep an eye on her. If she's at all discolored, she needs to see a vet pronto.
