Answer
Hello again Mano,

Thank you so much for taking your time to answer my questions about where you are and about Mithoo. I am always interested in hearing about other cultures and about the way parrots are cared for in other countries.

I would be sure to try to add things like cooked rice, whole grains, and vegetables when you are able to get them.  Your choori sounds like something I would like to eat myself. :-)  I enjoy foods like that.

Being in Pakistan, I guess that there would be many import restrictions there so seed would be hard to come by. Since Alexandrine parrots are native to that area, I would do some research in to what they eat in the wild. Providing Mithoo with that in addition to what you feed him now would surely allow for the longest life for him.

I hope you continue to enjoy your relationship with Mithoo and that you both stay safe, happy, and healthy. All of my best to you from myself and from my birds to yours.

Jan
