Question
I am putting my future cockatiel parents on a part soft-food diet, and Im not sure what type is most nutritious.

I am feeding the soft foods so that they feed it to the babies.

Answer
Hello Andrew,I feel the best soft food diet would be one that gives high nutrition vegetables such as carrots, broccoli, sweet potato (slightly cooked), cooked red beans, brown rice are what I usually use. And removing old food after a couple hours is important as well as fresh water. You can soften pelleted food to make sure a balance of nutrition also but, don't let it stay in the cage to long as bacteria love wet food too! Good luck with your cockatiels I'm glad you are concerned about there nutritional needs. Christy
