taming my budgie

we have had a dudgie for about 4 weeks now.it is approx 11 weeks old.we do not seem to be getting anywhere with him as regards to taming,in fact he seems to be getting worse and pecking as soon as we get anywhere near him.he also makes a screeching noise.the day we brought him home we were told to handle him as much as possible,so we tried this and all he does is fight to get away.we have had his wings clipped but it didnt help,please could you give me some advice

Be sure to talk in a calm low voice and only attempt to hold her when shes in a quite area, offer her spray millet from your hands also, take her out and leave her perch on yuor finger or arm dont make sudden movments, yuor budgie should be take by now if you ahve done everything right but taming a bird takes lots of daily intereaction, be sure to go and just talk to her every now and then, offer treats trough the cage bars, continue to do this for a week or so adn she should be tame.
