alexandrine vs. rock pebbler

Question
I'm trying to decide between these two parrots. Talking potential is a plus, quiet and gentle nature is important. I do realize that even the most prolific breed for talking doesn't ensure the bird will talk, but potential is a factor. Also, ease of care and health issues. From my extensive research, seems these two are pretty similar but the rock pebbler may be quieter. Can you give me your expert opinion.

Answer
Hello Terry and thank you for your post.
I am sorry that it took so long for me to answer you, but I had computer problems that are hopefully resolved now.
I have never had the oppertunity to work with a Rock Pebbler, but I did have an Alexandrine come into my shelter at one time.  She was quiet, and a very good ird.  She was almost as gentile as my Cockatiels, and she had caught onto our routine very quickly (I keep really strange hours and it can tend to confuse a bird, but she adapted very well and quickly).
When I lay down for a nap, my birds also nap, so they are quiet unless I start talking to them.
The choice is really up to you, but any bird loves a routine, so either way a bird can be trained for quiet times.

Good luck and God Bless.
