Question
I have a 6 week old African Grey and while feeding her the solution we were given by the breeder some of it got in her right nostril. We have been unsucessful in getting the ( cornmeal looking solution ) out of the nostril and she seems to be having a difficult time breathing. I mean it doesn't seem life threatening, but I feel bad that she is not able to breath normally. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Hi josh

qtip moisted not wet, if that does not work take the baby back to where you got him and have them show you how to do it right or a vet that knows parrots.
yes it is a health problem what would happen to you ,
please take time to learn as much as you can about the bird you have.
we do not let our parrot go until they are weaned.
most people don't have a clue on what they are doing at that age.
remember you have taken on a bird that will live to be 50-75 years old. please learn as much as you can
Take care Barbara
