My Beautiful Parakeet

WE JUST FOUND OUT OUR PARAKEET WAS A GIRL I DONT KNOW WHEN SHE WILL START TALKIN SAYIN LIL WORDS AN STUFF SHE IS ABOUT 2MTHS OLD CAN U HELP ME?

Dear Tara,
thank you for your question.
Some parakeets talk, some don't. It depends not on their sex, but on their character. Talk to her a lot and repeat the things you want her to say, if she's talented, she will pick it up soon enough.

But I recommend getting her a friend instead. Parakeets, as all parrots, are very social and need company. Even if you spend a lot of time with her, she will be lonely and bored when you go to school/work, meet friends ect. With another parakeet, you don't have to worry about that. They may not learn to talk, but there's nothing more cute and entertaining to watch than two parakeet playing with each other. They will not breed because they need a nesting box for that and they will get tame if you spend time with them (millet spray helps a lot, most parakeets will do anything for it).
