cockatoo and budgie

i have one cockatoo and one budgie in different cages can i put these 2 types of birds in together in the same cage

thank you for your question.
If the cage is big enough, this might work. But you need to watch the birds very closely in case of aggression and I wouldn't recommend using one of their old cages. The birds might consider their cage their territory and attack the other bird. Try letting them out of the cage together and see how they react to each other, they might even choose one cage by themselve. If you do want to use one of the old cages, redecorate it so that it's new for both of them.
