I have a ockatiel that i was teaching to talk this morning and it started making grinding sounds when i said "hello".Im teaching it the word "hello".Is this normal?

Hi, Amir.  Thanks for posting.

Sounds to me like your tiel might be trying to say something, unless the "grinding" sound you hear is your bird grinding it's beak together (which means the bird is content).  I've never actually heard a tiel say or try to say "hello."
