Bird speices

I have a new adopted bird and was told it was a bourke, it does look a little like the pictures i have found on the net, but it has a tail that curls off in opposite directions, I would like to know what it is so I can know how to care for it. Thanks for any help you might be able to offer, Kara

it most likely is because the bird may have groom the tail wrong or slept with the tail on the side of the cage. It is nothing to worry about after she molts is should turn back normal try putting a large bowl in the cage so she can bath in it.
