Bourke parakeets, cockatiels and budgies?

Question
Hi

Can two tiels, two budgies and a bourkes parakeet live together?

Also are boukes any harder to tame then cockatiels?

Answer
Yes, 'tiels, budgies and Bourke's would probably all live together peacefully, assuming the cage is large enough.  The cage needs to be big enough that they can all be in seperate areas if they choose to be apart.  But, always keep an eye out for problems - while those species are usually gentle, sometimes there are individuals that cause problems.

I'd say Bourke's are about as easy to tame as cockatiels.  But a lot of Bourke's are raised in large aviaries where they have little or no contact with people, so they usually start out wilder than most cockatiels.  If you can find hand-fed birds, that would be your best bet.
