Do parrots masturbate???!!

I know its an embarracing question im going to ask, but i reaaly appreciate if u help me to know whats going on with my bird. i have a 6 years old orange winged amazon. Lately, he started sometimes to make strange sounds while pushing his ass down like if he were putting eggs! & when he's out of his cage, he likes to put his ass on my hand! when someone looks at him he just know that his behaviours are sexual ones! i've made many researches but none has talked about such behaviours. I would be grateful if u help me. Thanx in advance

When he pushes his ass down, does he shake it back and forth?  If he does, then he has gotten to the point of sexual maturity.  
To answer your post question, yes...he is masterbating.  Some bids do this, while others do not even have the urge to do this.  Unfortunately, there is nothing that you can do about it.  It is a natural thing for bird to do, especially when they do not have a mate.
