baby lovebird

My lovebirds hatched 1 baby.  It just came out of the nest a few days ago. One of the adults is acting aggressive toward the baby. should I put the baby out alone or put the one in a separate cage that is bothering the baby.  The mom still seems pretty protective of him.

I would remove the adult you will need to monitor the mom and the baby's weight to make sure neither of them loses too much. Ideally you should handfeed the baby at 2-3 weeks if you want him to be any where near tame - make sure you get adequate instructions from a vet or breeder first.
