cockatiels babies

thank you for telling me what fledging is.  will daddy be aggressive about coaxing the babies out?  i feed my cockatiels seed, fresh fruit, whole bread, they seem to love the bread. any other food i should be giving them???    let me know!!!    thanks   dana

Daddy's usually aren't aggressive about coaxing babies out of the nesting box.  The babies leave the box as they are able to.

My cockatiels love cooked brown rice with vegetables mixed in.  I use the cooked brown rice as a base and mix different things with the rice for variety.  I provide a large variety of foods for my tiels and they like mostly everything except for fruit.  Fruit is mostly water, so not all fruit is nutritional.  Whole wheat bread is good...I'm not sure what whole bread is.
