kakariki,regurgitating...

Hi,we have had our kakariki for over 3 years now and he has never really been a friendly bird and we have excepted that,but for the past few weeks we have noticed he make a little noise eats food then he regurgitate it all over his mirror,his bowls and now even his cage,some times he eats it back again,can you please tell us why he does it because its most odd.

I would reccommend removing the mirror, he is probably trying to feed another bird who he thinks is his mate in the mirror. If it is not behavioral from the mirror it could be a digestive problem, make sure he is getting a correct diet, I am not familiar with the species so I can not be real specific.
