Question on parakeets

Hi Barbara.


Angelina has been showing some progress. Whenever I come up to Clarabell and speak with her, she runs up to me and starts singing away through the bars. Angelina sees this and is curious. She responds by coming up to the bars and starts biting hard at me, however, I keep a safe distant. Unlike Clarabell, Angelina bites hard, whereas Clarabell softly preens me. What can I do to help Angelina from biting and start preening?

are you given her treats when she come up,  with out picking her up.  just keep at it. give it time.
loving care is what it takes . there is no set time. it will be when she trusts you.
