green cheek conure/loosing tail feathers

I have a GCC, about six weeks old, and weaned.  He has lost his tail feathers.  Is this normal?

Hello Don and thank you for your post.
Keep a watch on him.  His tail feathers should start to grow back in a couple of weeks.  It is possible that he is breaking them off while climbing aroud his cage.  If they do not start to grow back in a couple of weeks, I recommend that you take him into a Certified avian or an Exotic Animal Vet for a check up.  He may have an underlying health issue.
