Kakariki soaked

Carol i gave my Kakariki a bath and hes soaked him self.
It was warm-ish water,im worried he'l catch a cold or something because hes wet through!

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I never got a notice that you had asked a question!
Just make sure to put him in a sunny area to dry. As long as there are no drafts, he'll be fine. If you want, you can purchase a heated perch for him to make sure he doesn't catch cold. I usually just take my birds in the shower with me and leave them in the bathroom until they're dry because the bathroom is very warm from the hot shower, and will gradually cool down-at the same rate as the birds. You can use a hair dryer, but not all birds like this (most of mine hate it) and you can also towel dry them, but again, most birds hate this, also.
