meyers parrot

Question
My parrot has been throwing up and when I was petting him under his beak I
noticed a lump.   What should I do?

Hello cynthia and thank you for your post.
It sounds like your Parrot's crop is blocked and an infection has set in (which usually happens when a bird is on an all seed diet).  Your Parrot needs to be seen by a Certified Avian or Exothic Animal Vet right away.  Without treatment, your bird can pass away very quickly.
A Certified Avian or Exothic Animal Vet can do a thurough examination and give the correct medication(s) that might be needed.
