My Quaker Make A Weird Wheezing Sound!

hi i have a 9 month old quaker & whenever i take him out of his cage he looks at me and makes this weird wheezing sound could it be because hes trying to talk?

Answer
If his droppings are normal, his eating is healthy and all other behaviors normal - chances are this is his way of greeting you or perhaps a remnant of his 'baby' behavior in calling for a feeding.

 This behavior/calling is often a raspy, grating sounding type of chirp.
