my rats are sleeping most the time is this normal

For me to answer this question, I need more information. By all the time do you mean day and night? Rats sleep most of the day and usually are active at night. How old are your rats? If they are older rats, say, over a year and a half years old, then they are getting older and would sleep longer. If they are young, sleep day and night, then it is not normal. Are they showing any other signs of illness such as wheezing or sneezing? Are they eating normally? I suggest that you take your rats to a vet who takes smaller animals and get your rats examined to make sure that they are not ill.
