Question
Hi. I am so sorry if I am asking the wrong person for this question, but I was hoping you could help me.

I was looking on the Petco website the other day, and I came across "Marshall Pet Bi-Odor Internal Waste & Urine Deodorizer". I have a hamster myself, and this product sounded great.
However, I am concerned if this is a safe product for my hamster.

Here is the description:
"Virtually eliminate small animal litter box and body odors with Bi-Odor Internal Waste & Urine Deodorizer. 100% natural supplement deodorizes your pet's stool, urine, and body odors. Just add to your pet's food or water daily."

Here is the list of ingredients:
"Deionized water, aspartic acid, threonine, serine, glutamic acid, glycine, alanine, valine, methionine, isoleucine, leucine, tyrosine, phenylamine, histidine, lysine, arginine, cysteine, proline. May or may not contain sodium bicarbonate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, sodium benzoate."

Please let me know if this is a safe product for my hamster, and if you know how this product works. I just want to make sure that I am giving my hamster the safest things.

Thanks so much in advance!

Answer
Hello Chloe,
I've used this product for two years on my miniature hamster. I squirt two pumps into his 10oz drinking water and have never had a problem with the bi-odor and it does work extremely well. I love the stuff and it's great. Add it to your pets water though and not his food. It works better that way. I can't say enough about this product. It just really cuts down on odor very well and I can't say enough good things about it.
