Chinchilla fur wet

My chinchilla has a wet spot under her chin, now I noticed she has wet fur under her tummy as well.  The room is cool so it's not too hot, and she has been eating fine and acting completely healthy aside from that.  Any ideas what has happened?

Unless the water bottle has dripped, this is not a good sign. I suggest you immediately call an exotics' vet to check your chinchilla over. Chinchillas are prey animals and will try to act healthy until they are very, very ill. Please take her to a vet. It is very important to rule out serious disease.
