Training my pet rat to stay inside my jacket when I go out

Hello!

I was just wondering if you could help me out: I just got a pet rat yesterday, and I'm handling it very well, it already loves to run around my jacket and go through my sleeves etc...

He still gets scared when I go over to his cage and want to pick him up, but I'm using treats now to get him to come out of there lol

However, it was always my dream with a pet rat that I can take him with me everywhere, that he stays inside my jacket or inside my pockets.

How do you think I can go about this?
