breeding hamsters

Hi, I have 3 female hamsters. The one I want to breed is a 4 month old Syrian hamster. My sister has a male panda at age 1 month old I want to breed them but I'm not sure if I can considering the age difference and the different type of breed. Please e-mail me to tell me what to do.

I would ask you why you want to breed hamsters? Have you researched into genetics and health problems that can be passed on from the parents? Are these hamsters from a pet store? If so I would advise you not to breed from them. Syrian hamsters can kill each other during mating unless you get the timing perfectly right, so make sure if you go ahead with this that you know what you are doing and know how to care for the young and have homes for them. Also make sure you have a vet that is experienced with hamsters in case there are any complications. Good luck
