Reclusive Rats

My three rats have been hiding in their hidey cave for almost 48 hours, except for brief visits to the water and food.  Usually they are dying to come out and play.  Is this something to worry about? They are about two months old.  Thanks very much.

Has anything changed in their environment? Its possible they could be ill and that is why they are not very playful. If you are worried it would be best to get them checked over as rats are very prone to respiratory infections. Hopefully its nothing serious, good luck
