Question
QUESTION: What are some good, fairly short ( 1-2 weeks) science experiments I can do with rodents?

ANSWER: I have never done a science fair/project with any rodent, however, I did find this really good website that give many experiments and even grade level ones that you can look into. I hope that this helps :)

QUESTION: I was actually thinking of comparing the kinds of objects rodents have in their cage and how they'll react to them. I was thinking of using a medium clay pot, a small glass jar, a tissue box, and a plastic house and see which one the rodent likes best. What do you think? I'm also trying to choose what to use: one hamster or three mice?

Answer
Well what you could do, if you have them, is to compare the hamster vs the mouse as to what each like. Do they like the same things or not? Make a hypothesis based on what you think each will prefer and why then see what each rodent actually likes.
